I definitely recommend this career. You are in the people side of the business and if you are technical and like to learn about new applications and ways to help the business this is perfect. Compensation deals a lot with online tools such as PeopleSoft and excel. Benefits is the same but has a lot more employee interaction and the job comes in waves. Certain months are busier than others due to open enrollment of benefits etc.
This is fun for someone technical and eager to help with the business bottom line from a person perspective.
