To get anywhere, you should go for at least a Master's degree. It's a very interesting field, but without many opportunities. Many jobs are with government, private companies, and universities. Physical anthro has wider applicability than other specialties. I might choose this major again if I'd been better prepared to go for a higher degree.
In 1970, the percentage of college freshmen who considered themselves "liberal" was twice that of "conservative". Today, the percentages are nearly equal.
