Wheaton's reputation as a leading liberal arts college continues to grow. In recent years, Wheaton students have won more than three dozen competitive national awards, including two Rhodes scholarships, three Truman awards , 21 Fulbrights, and the British Marshall, the Goldwater , the Beinecke , five Rotary Ambassadorial scholarships , two Udalls , two James Madison Fellowships  and an American Council for International Education scholarship.
