UMO is an excellent college experience. The faculty is always helpful, and it's a small enough campus that each person can find their niche and really leave their mark on the college. Excellent meal plan with several dining commons. Definitely comes highly recommended by me!
The University of Maine is a large draw for engineering students. The events on campus are very positive. The campus has a very modern wireless sysyem throughout most of the buildings. The campus can be grim during the harsh winter months, but spring time heralds quite a celebration.
When P.T. Barnum donated money to Tufts University, he did so on the condition that the school's mascot be named after his beloved elephant. The Tufts University mascot has been the "Jumbos" ever since.
