Skidmore is a remarkable school that is best for those who are independent thinkers and workers, willing and eager to take charge of their own education. Professors are, for the most part, genuinely interested in their students' well-being and want to see them do well. Extracurricular activities are plentiful and most students are very involved in a number of diverse activities. The campus itself and town of Saratoga Springs is scenic and full of interesting shops, restaurants and outdoor activities.
