I am and SMC senior and my experience at SMC has been nothing less than amazing. St. Mike's wasn't my first choice school, but after being here since 2007 I can't imagine having gone anywhere else. The campus is gorgeous, the community is welcoming, and there is absolutely no shortage of things to do on campus, in downtown burlington, and at other off campus locations.

My favorite thing about SMC definitely has to be the student body and the sense of community you get from being here. I know "community" is such a cliche word to use to describe a college, but there really is no better way to explain it. With a student body of 2000, students can make the school as big or small as they want by getting involved in extracurriculars, playing sports at different levels, doing research with professors, working internships, and so much more.

I love going to Saint Michael's College. It has been a positive experience so far and has really become my second home. The school has a very good community and family feel as you become close to many different students and professors. The campus is very welcoming to all different kinds of students with different interests. One pro and con of the school is the size. The school is small and you know a lot of people on campus, but it all depends on if that works for you. I would choose St.Mike's again in a heartbeat and really found my place and am able to do so much and take advantage of so many things the school offers like study abroad and community service programs.

This is a great college for students who are looking for a close knit community type atmosphere. It is a small school, so you get to know a lot of people well. I would recommend going there, and would go there again. I think the size of the school and the ability to get to know professors well are the biggest pros, I think the cons would be that the school is a little outside of Burlington and the town of Winooski does not have much to offer.
