  well. After more than 10 years I fully got it. Life in Harvard is eden for learns. you should plan to spend as much of your time learning and exploring. do not just focus on your topic, move to other schools, move to MIT, check the arts. Meet people. and Have fun.

  This is pretty free-form! It's worth going if only because almost (sic) everyone else will be impressed you got in. Best part about it is that the intellectual level of one's classmates is very high and the facilities are wonderful... Worst part is a lot of self-satisfaction, but that's best left to the discretion of each individual...

  Students need to have a strong academic background. For qualified students, I would recommend Harvard as a fine academic institution with resources to help one pursue any interest they may have. I would choose to go to Harvard again in a heartbeat. The pros are the resources available, both in terms of the faculty and physical resources, as well as the numerous opportunities in a wide range of fields. Most of all, though, one's fellow classmates enrich the learning experience greatly. The cons are that it is located in the Northeast (6 months of winter) and that students are expected to act on their own to find opportunities. In the long run, the latter 'con' is a plus, but for some freshmen, it takes a while to get used to a curriculum that is not as structured as high school and depends more on self-directed learning.

  I would definitely reccomend this university to anyone who enjoys law and i would definitely this university if i had to choose it again. People should know that all the people there are kind since no druggies would ever be able to go to Harvard so everyone there doesn't bother you and there is hardly any peer pressure. Harvard is a great University!!!!!!!!

  Don't attend Harvard just for the name. Even if you're brilliant and ambitious, it might not be the best fit for you. To succeed at Harvard, you have to be driven, know what you want, and be willing to persistently knock on doors to get it. Undergraduates generally do not get much attention from professors without taking the initiative to ask for it, and it is very possible to slip through the cracks. If you don't have an assertive personality, you will probably do better at a college where undergraduate teaching and advising is a higher priority. The good thing about Harvard is its fascinating, well-known speakers and professors, and that there are more interesting events going on than you have time for. You can make a lot of great networking connections there. Also, most of your classmates will be the smartest, most fascinating people you will ever meet, and it's a great place for long, interesting conversations.

  Obviously, many things at Harvard are top-notch. The professors are world-class, and so are the students. But be careful with that $40K-- you'll also be paying for cramped dorm rooms, lousy food, and inadequate health (especially mental health) services alongside that fancy diploma.

  Highly recommend - the best asset of the school is its amazingly diverse and interesting student body. People with all sorts of of interests, from all over the world. The friends and connections I made while at Harvard are invaluable. the education is largely what you make of it - you have a fair amount of flexibility in the courses you take, and you can be as ambitious as you like. Many of the larger survey courses are taught by teaching assistants, but if you seek out the world-class professors and make an effort to meet and engage them, it can be extremely rewarding! I would definitely go there again if i did it all over again - I might have even studied a little less, and taken better advantage of all the extracurricular activities and things that Cambridge and Boston have to offer!

  Obviously Harvard is a very good school and is impressive to people after graduation. The education students receive is very good, and the professors are world-class, though the interaction with faculty is often limited. Definitely not a party school - can be difficult to have a good time there and make lasting friends - a lot of people are out for themselves and spend all their time studying. The school is definitely what you make of it. Classes are generally not that difficult, unless you choose a major like pre-med. It is generally more difficult to get in, than to do well once you are there. I would choose to go there again, if only for the name recognition and the doors it opens after graduation, which is really what college is all about anyway.

  Sink or swim. They offer therapy but don't expect very much sympathy. On the other hand, you'll be hobnobbing with future rich folks, famous people, and power brokers. Finding a party is nigh impossible. Worth the trouble for sure.
