This is an excellent institution with a lot of facilities and an excellent library. Other athletic facilities are also awesome! The only downside of being in Grinnell College is the location of the college itself. Grinnell is a very small town and there is not much to do outside the college campus.
Grinnell College is located in a town of around 10,000, and that town is nestled in corn and soy fields. The winters are biting and the sunny days are brief. The college is not too hard, is quite liberal, and the food is mediocre. It has a strong science focus, and quite of bit of the college's resources are going toward expanding the science departments.
While scores on the Math portion of the SAT have remained fairly consistent over the past 40 years for men, their average Verbal scores have dropped about 30 points.
