Eastern is a great little liberal arts school at a very reasonable price. The classes are small, the professors and administrators are dedicated, and the education is first rate, especially in the liberal arts and communications. Be aware that the town (Portales) is very small and may take some getting used to if you're not from a rural background. But the education you will get at Eastern is equal to that of many state schools.
The U.S. federal government spends more on defense than the rest of the world combined! They spend about the same on education as France alone.
