Christian faith and enriched by a vibrant urban location.As the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America's (ELCA) most diverse and only urban institution, Augsburg strives to educate
both traditional and non-traditional students, offering undergraduate degrees in over 50 major areas of study. The College also
grants six graduate degrees:
Majors in the Sciences, Business-related fields, and the teacher licensure program, which has been preparing K-12 teachers
since 1923, are the top three areas of study.The optional 20-minute daily chapel service is a time for ecumenical reflection and exchange of ideas for all in the Augsburg
community. An informal communion service is held each Wednesday evening. And there's always someone to turn to for spiritual
guidance during tough times. Augsburg's skilled pastoral ministry staff are available to Augsburg's students.With downtown Minneapolis and St. Paul just minutes from the campus, Augsburg students have access to a wide range of arts,
sports, entertainment and recreation in addition to numerous work and service-based opportunities. The College's location also
provides access for all of Augsburg's students to participate in volunteer community service and internship experiences that not
only enhance their classroom learning but also prepare them for life's work in a multi-cultural society.
