University of Houston is a good choice for those who plan to major in business, pharmacy, or any teaching related fields. What I like most about the campus is that it's quite huge, and so is the study body (roughly 40,000 students attend). The location is good, as it's not too far away from Downtown Houston. Depending on whether you're into sports, this could be a con: not many students are into college football. You can say there's a lack of school spirit. If I could go back in time and be a senior in high school trying to decide which college to go to, I still would have picked University of Houston.
The average cost of college tuition in the U.S. has gone up by more than 300% in the past 20 years.
