All undergraduate students at the University of Dallas study a Core Curriculum, a series of specific courses that emphasizes
the great ideas, deeds, and works of Western civilization
from classical to modern times. This includes reading many of the "Great
Books" in their entirety. After the core curriculum, students then go on to pursue their chosen major. The University of
Dallas offers 18 different academic programs leading to the Bachelor of
Arts or Bachelor of Science degree.
