NCSA is a great college. There is diversity among the students, with frequent interactions between students of different artistic disciplines. At NCSA you learn the simple, harsh truth about the world of art- you will not get anywhere without working hard. At NCSA you it is not uncommon for a student to work 12 hour days, 7 days a week, no matter what their discipline it. The film school at NCSA is the best department, however. It has state-of-the-art technology and three massive sound stages for students to film their projects. The only bad thing about NCSA is its location- Winston-Salem, NC is a poor, deadbeat town, but the campus truly is a gem in the south.
When P.T. Barnum donated money to Tufts University, he did so on the condition that the school's mascot be named after his beloved elephant. The Tufts University mascot has been the "Jumbos" ever since.
