Small liberal brts college founded by Jesuits. 80% of professors have PHDs in their field and are in the class rooms. I never had a student teacher my entire time there. Small class sizes, about 20:1 student/teacher ratio. I was concerned that it would be very conservative but was suprised and how liberal it turned out to be. More focus on philosophy than on religion. Definitely recommended.
About a third of the students at Washington and Lee University still receive some financial aid from interest on an endowment set up by George Washington in 1796.
