Lander University is an awesome college if you like the idea of having professors and staff that know you by name and actually have time to spend with you individually. I would definitely recommend this college. If I had to do it all over again, I would still attend Lander. Pros: helpful, friendly professors and staff, a friendly student body, and a small, highly walkable campus. Cons: the library is big but could be bigger, the in-house coffee shop has great products but is a bit expensive if you don't have a meal plan. Incoming students should know that if you don't have your own laptop, you'll be inconvenienced in quite a few classes, and dependent on public terminals (which are less secure than personal laptops). I would advise incoming students to check out all the available dorms because they are in a wide variety of locations on the campus.

The best thing about Lander is it's small size- classes are all small enough that each student can get personal attention from the lecturers! I would recommend this place to anyone, and, if I could do it again, I'd still choose Lander. My only major problem with Lander is that the city it's located in, Greenwood, S.C., is also very small, meaning there isn't much to do there. But, if you have a car and can take the long drive to Greenville or Augusta, it's not a problem! Anyway, Lander is a great, peaceful campus full of interesting people and caring staff. I'd recommend it!

I did enjoy this college. It is on the smaller size and so you get a good education and don't have to run around the whole city trying to get to classes. This is a good thing that a prospective student might want to take into consideration. And yes, I would go to this college if I had to do it all over again. A great thing about Lander University is that it is on the inexpensive side, at least as colleges are concerned.
