Great weather, laid-back atmosphere, very attractive student bodies. Would go back if I could. Can't think of any cons, really. Air gets very smoky in August when there are fires in the Everglades area. And if you stay on campus during the breaks you will have the place to yourself. Is that a plus? Depends on you.
I went to school here not for the social life because in reality it is very much a commuter school. It has one of the most fantastic English departments with many many Phd scholars from top Ivy league schools. This was my motivation to go there and I would choose so again. Also their Judaic Studies program can't be beat. So yes, not your typical Florida Party School. but a good education can be had here!
