The biggest tip I have is to get involved in campus activities! I regret that I wasn't more involved.
This is a great school for students who like discussion-based classes and close interaction with professors. The faculty is top-notch. It is a solid college with a great reputation, and I'd recommend it to anyone.
The pros are that it is small and personable, and the entire staff and faculty is helpful and focused on the success of students. The cons are that it is similar to high school in that there are the standard cliques- jocks, band kids, drama crew, etc.
People might not realize that such a quality education can exist on such a small campus, but it's true!
The number of students who study the Russian language in U.S. colleges has dropped in half since the end of the Cold War. Chinese, on the other hand, has doubled.
