The college experience at Brigham Young University is like none other. The education you can receive, provided you put forth the effort, is phenomenol. The unique aspect of this college is the honor code and behavior that is expected, as well as the religious instruction required. BYU has very high standards academically as well as in their code of ethics for their students. Overall, if you are planning on going to college primarily to get an education and socialize with other like-minded individuals, this will be a great experience. However if you are going to college to get out on your own, sow your wild oats and generally live it up, don't bother! BYU is for the student intent on growing and learning both spiritually and mentally. Otherwise, look for your higher education elsewhere.

Excellent education with Professors who are willing to help and assist any student. I would recommend this school to anyone. However, students must be willing to abide by the standards of the Mormon Church while attending the University. I would attend BYU again. My education was excellent as both and undergrad and a graduate student.

Brigham Young University is a very difficult school to get into. If you are considering this college, focus on your schoolwork and get good grades. You also need to get a good score on your ACT. I would definitely recommend this college to anyone who would like to attend. I would attend this college again if I had to choose a college again. A pro for me is that there is no drinking, smoking, or drugs allowed to be used by the students. This may be a con for others, but I really liked it. BYU is internationally recognized for it programs, so having a degree from this college is a plus on your resume. The con of this college is that, while it is in Utah, you cannot attend if you are a Utah resident. You must be from another state or country to attend. People should know that you do not have to be a member of the LDS church to attend this college. There are many students from every religion that attend, but the college is religious, so you must be open to prayers in the classrooms, religion credit requirements, and other things that go along with a religious university.

The motto should be "The Campus is our World." Questioning and intellectual development are actively discouraged in favor of religious studies.
