Sierra College is perfect small town school to use as a stepping stone to move towards bigger and better things. The class sizes and student body are both very nice, and the cost of schooling is negated by the grants accumulated with FAFSA and other student grants. They have more than adequate accreditation with CSU and other State systems. The only problem is that students tend to get stuck in the system; a 2-year school can take 5 or 6 years away from your life. Overall Sierra College is a great school to attend while getting your bearings.
In the last 20 years, the number of students enrolled in college who are at least 35 years old has doubled.
