This is one of the best schools in San Diego county. I personally was in the Cinema program, and I highly recommend this school. My advice is to live near the college, I started my degree program at my high school, but the classes I had to take at the main campus meant a long commute. But I would highly recommend this college for anyone living in San Marcos. If I had to do it again, I definitely would go to this college. Its pros are great teachers, fantastic campus, and since prop M passed its about to get a big technology upgrade. The only downside for me was that I had to drive out of my way to get to it. Also, I recommend not taking online classes unless you've done it before, its a bit difficult at this campus.
Palomar College is a great school for anyone that doesn't know if they are ready for a big university yet. This school allows you to prepare for more difficult courses at a regular 4 year institution. The campus is great, lots of big classrooms and places to relax on your breaks. Also, if you do not live close to Palomar, they have lots of extension locations so you don't have to go far from home. For anyone interested in getting into the fashion industry, Palomar College has some excellent courses and degree programs for fashion merchandising and design. It is located in sunny southern California so the weather is great!
Harvard University, the first college in America, was originally called "New College" and sometimes just referred to as "Cambridge," the city in MA where it's located.
