I had a generally good experience at Gateway. My professors were by and large competent and caring and though class sizes could get large, most professors were willing to take the time with a student who is eager to learn or to draw on the eexperience of a mentor. The extracurricular scene however was marginal at best. A few of the organizations on campus were active but most were run and attended by a select few. If you were to attend this school I would recommended taking advantage of the professors and preparing yourself for a 4-year degree. Find other outside opportunities for service and activity to benefit your resume.
