This college does a very good job for a community college. There is definitely an emphasis on being a transfer student to a 4 year university. Credit cards are accepted for no additional fee. Science and math courses are fairly challenging and transfer well. My only caution would be that the "team effort" required in this school is substanitally heavier than in corporate America and they are a bit powerpoint heavy.
40 years ago, women used to score 50 points lower on the Math portion of the SAT than on the Verbal. Today, their Math and Verbal scores are nearly identical on average.
