Shasta is a good college to start out at. However the selection of majors is limited. I would recommend shasta for students planning to study in a scientific field, and have a limited income. I still would have gone to shasta, as the tuition is only $20/credit. As I stated earlier, tuition is only $20/credit, however majors are limited. Shasta is pretty good in terms of community college's. Shasta college also has a good sports scene, with most major sports having full competitive teams.
