This college is great for people who either seriously messed up or just didn't care in high school. It's a great place to bolster your grades. The classes are pretty easy and the work load is certainly justifiable. The teachers are suprisingly amazing, and the college actually manages to have a lot of interesting different classes. Dean also makes a good attempt to make sure their students learn by providing services like the learning center, which one could use to gain assistance in any class that he/she is struggling in. The only major con about Dean College was the location. There is nothing very exciting about Franklin, Ma. There's a movie theater and a bowling alley near by. Fortunately, Franklin isn't that far from Boston or Providence. Franklin/Dean College also has it's own T-stop, so getting to Boston doesn't necessarily require a car.
The tuition is a bit high for a small two year college. If you are looking for a small community and a smooth transition for high school to college than Dean is for you. Get to know your advisor because they are very helpful. They have a great dance program but lack a decent computer program. Food is slightly better than other colleges. Overall if you have the money and you’re not quite sure if you can hack it go to Dean College
Harvard University, the first college in America, was originally called "New College" and sometimes just referred to as "Cambridge," the city in MA where it's located.
