My advice for the peaople considering this career is, choose it only if you want to work hard and have lot of patientce. yes i would recommend this career to others and i woild choose the same occupation again and again. The pros and cons of this occupation is that you need to work late hours also and you have to take care of your guest very much and sometimes maybe bear a customer who is not good to you but you have to bear him. But you get good tips and make lots of friends in this occupation and its a great experiance also. They must come to know that hospitality mean "customer is always right" and he is the king.
I am working as a reservations officer in a call center. I really did noy like to sit down and pick up phone and answer calls, becaus I found it boring thing to do, can not move, must be before time, and also work until late, especially for a married person, no time to enjoy life, the other thing is the callers, you have to expect nasty people and rude convesation, talking to different cultures and characteres is not the easy job to do. stress is the first thhing affected me in this job. I was forced to accept this job, because no other choice, life needs to move.
