I took a job as a part time postman, to try out something else than IT system developer. It was a kind of teraphy for me, and now I'm going back to the computer industry.
I'll really recommend this for others in my situation.
If I ever need a break from computers again, I'll probably end up as a postalworker again.
Pros:
- When your done for the day, you'll go home and relax. No need to worry about work related stuff at home.
- It's physical work, good for your body.
- People re friendly to postmen :-)
Cons:
- Low salary, compared to my line of IT work.
- Sometimes stressfull
