Hi ! I'm a High School student. And I really like this job. Can somebody tell me more deeply into this career. How hard it was or should I get into this career. And how hard to find a job for this career? THANKS YOU.
My work as a brand manager for a multinational food company is more than just thinking up of advertisements for our products. It is actually a holistic role that involves technical skills (product development - make it sweeter, revise the taste, change its packaging, etc), HR skills (managing people from sales, from the ad agency, from supply chain), supply chain skills (forecasting supply and demand, making sure that there will be enough stocks for the year), sales skills (thinking of new promotions and deals). It is like managing your own little business (your brands being your business). I would recommend this to people who would like to manage their own business someday and who are interested in learning different skills.
This career is meant for people who do not want to work in a stereotyped manner....It is a very pleasing yet challenging job. High innovation, people handling skills, persuasion & farsightedness is required.
