Doing this job while I was going to school full time was a big mistake, first off. Sure it paid alot but it took my attention away from school. After five years of being a dispatch clerk, and only a associates to show for school, I had to make the leap and be a dispatch leader. This was not what I had planned for when I thought about my goals. I was distracted by a steady, big pay check and not concerned with continuing my education. My advice to any student new to college but has a good career, is to follow through with school, no matter how much you make and get that out of the way so that you don't look back on it and regret it.
