I would recommend this career to people who are committed to their education and willing to put in many years of study. I am glad that I have my career and would make the same choices if I had to do it again. You get to help people in ways that others aren't able to, however, you are exposed to difficult and often sad issues on a regular basis. This career can be very rewarding as long as you are able to keep a clear boundary between work and personal life.
