I am a small business owner of a health store. I sell vitmains, herbs, natural bath and body items, natural foods, etc. I do have two part-time employees but they only work a few hours a month. I handle most sales, all ordering, advertising, scheduling, etc. I enjoy attending seminars and staying educated so I can pass the knowledge on to my customers. It is a lot of pressure to be a business owner - especially since I am a female who is now 21 years old. I have utilized my 7 years of office experience but did not have any prior wisdom in advertising and I also have a hard time actually sharing the information I have in my head. The biggest pro to my career is that I am my own boss and also that I get to help people and teach them to take control of their health instead of relying on the medical world.
People need to understand that the Lord created plants and foods for healing and in most circumstances, if you take care of your body nutrtionally, physically, emotionally, and spirtually, most health problems will be avoided. |
