Making a Career Change, any suggestions?

I am currently seeking a career change. While possessing a Masters Degree in History, I am having difficulty finding a position relevant to my field and have had to settle for temporary factory work. I have always had a passion for academics or the college setting. I would like to pursue a career with Academic Affairs or Higher Education Leadership. I am open to any suggestions or advice that may assist me in reaching this goal.
