	Weber State University is a university located in Ogden, Utah. Weber State was founded as the Weber Stake Academy in 1889. The school became Weber State College in 1964 and gained university status in 1991. Weber State's colors are purple, black and white and their nickname is the Wildcats. Weber State sports teams participate in NCAA Division I (I-AA for football) in the Big Sky Conference.
