Wayland Baptist University is a great christian university to attend. The class sizes are small enough to know most of your fellow students, and the staff are very personable and friendly. I would go to Wayland Baptist if you are looking for a small-town feel, good education, and being within driving distance from the big city (Lubbock). The tuition is pretty comparable to other colleges in a 100 mile radius and worth every bit of it. The only negative side is the communication the staff has with the extension campuses of Wayland. Similar to many christian universities you will be required to take Old & New Testament History as a requirement for your degree...and depending on your professor that can be difficult, I did enjoy it though. I would recommend Wayland in a heartbeat.
