If you attend a junior college before attending WSUV as a Junior and Senior make sure that your credits will transfer. Also, make sure that all your requirements are met (Freshmen and Sophmore) before attending this upper division university. Many other students that I spoke with experienced having to take additional classes to fulfill their undergraduate requirements, thinking that these credits were already fulfilled. Also, these same students had to increase their class loads their last semester due to finding out that all of their undergraduate requirements were yet to be met. Make sure that your advisor clearly examines your transcript in order to avoid this issue.
WSU:Vancouver is a small campus, and it can feel very intimate at times because there are always other people you know in each new class you attend, but at the same time it's a very disconnected campus. Students do not live on campus, and the few social activities that are available are not well attended. I would reccomend this campus to anyone interested in an environment where you can get to know your instructors well, but not interested in the social aspect of college. I was very pleased with all things academic having to do with WSU:Vancouver. The professors are amazing, and there are several great programs offered at this school. All in all, I would attend WSU:Vancouver again.
40 years ago, women used to score 50 points lower on the Math portion of the SAT than on the Verbal. Today, their Math and Verbal scores are nearly identical on average.
