At Washington and Lee you get to experience both ugly sides of the South. The town is filled with rednecks and the school with old-money aristocrats. If you aren't from the South or find displays of the confederate flag jarring it probably isn't the school for you. The cultural differences are just tremendous. Do not go to this school unless your family has been living on the same plantation for the past 200 years.
