I would recommend that students from Utah go to this college. The out-of-state tuition might be too much for you if you aren't from Utah. If I had it to do over again, I would go to this college. The people are very friendly and there is good public transportation to and from the campus. A pro is that the campus is small and easy to get around. A con is that it is not an extremely prestegious school. If you are considering going to a Utah school, you may want to consider BYU if you want a more prestegious school.

USU has a wonderful community. Built on the Old Main Street of Logan, it over looks the entire valley with it's majesty and wisdom. If you like to ski, snow board, snow shoe and other fun winter activites, you're only 10 - 45 mins away from fun. If winter isn't your thing, then just wait for spring and Summer where hiking, backpacking, trails, and a Lake lie only 10 - 60 mins away.
There are many opportunities to meet new, different and interesting people. They have an amazing Basketball team if you are up for supporting your team.
If studing is more what you are about, then be prepared to ask for help in the Merril-Caizer library, where a state of the art Magazine/Book filing system is kept to help you out with research.
No matter what your major, you'll come to love it here. There are many opportunities no matter what your major is and if you can't decide on one, the wonderful counselors are there to open your mind to the countless possibilities of your future.

My overall college experience at Utah State University was very positive. Classes and professors were excellent. The University offered a wide variety of jobs on campus and well as information about jobs off campus. The counselors at the school were very helpful and gave you detailed lists of classes you needed to take in order to graduate. In upper division courses professors were very helpful and personable. There are plenty of fun activities to do around the campus and the surrounding community is small, but full of life. There are plenty of dating activities and opportunities around the area. Living areas and quarters are reasonably priced and easy to find. All the bus fairs are free and go all over the city. -Although there are plenty of people to date at Utah State, everyone likes to "hang out" instead of have any sort of serious intimate relationship. -Getting out of Logan is more difficult if you do not have your own transportation. -It gets fairly cold during the winter season.
