I've attended UTSA for the last several years, while working full-time. My major is electrical engineering. Overall I've rated UTSA so low because of my experiences there. Being an engineering student at UTSA has been extremely difficult. Classes are scheduled at inconvenent times, often only once an academic year. For example, my current schedule includes classes at 8am, 12pm, and 7pm.
Severe parking problems also affect daily life at UTSA. The administration recently completed constuction on a parking garage that is 2 levels. Who has ever heard of a two-story garage.
This school is a great commuter school. Some proffessors are harder than others but there is a good balance. Also I foud the advising staff to be particularly helpful especially the transfer advisor. My advice is take the orientation because the capus is enormous and they explain how to get around.
