The school itself is very old having been established in 1801. However they are always adding new buildings and repalcing them with old ones. Standard of excellence at the college of arts and science is somewhat low and general education requirments are obscure. However the morre school of business is very promisisng as well as the school of music.
The University of South Carolina was an excellent university to attend. There were a variety of activities and majors. The location is within two hours of the mountains and the beach. There is a diverse student body and the weather is an added bonus.
The University of South Carolina is located on a charming campus in downtown Columbia. The school is currently undergoing many changes on campus with work on new buildings occuring every day. The college is highly recommended for anybody since it offers a wide variety of undergraduate degrees with many programs being highly thought of in the education world. There is also a great nightlife scene in Columbia with many things to do. The university has many different varsity sports and a wide range of intramural sports. Greek Life is big on campus for one who may be looking to join a sorority or fraternity. If that is not one's taste, the school is always offering many activities and programs for students to enjoy. One set back to the campus is the parking scene. Parking can be few and far between. The university has worked hard in the past years to help correc this problem. All in all USC is an excellent opportunity for anybody, young or old, looking to obtain a college education.
