I love attending the UofO. My advice for freshman, live in the dorms your first year. Getting to know all the people there, connecting with students, and simply being around to experience all the events is an amazing experience. I would strongly recommend this college to people both from Eugene and from other parts of the world. While it may be a bit too liberal for some, the great community and atmosphere makes the UO a great place for undergraduate study, and beyond.

I love the school. The atmosphere is great, the people are nice. The scenery of the school is green all over. There are trees eveywhere and you feel very close to nature. Eugene is a great town to house such a school. YOu can find anything that you want there. If your Liberal, you can find your crowd, if your conservative you can find your crowd, if your of any race there is something for you. The campus is very diverse and accepting. The only thing that i wish they had was a nursing program. But other than that, it's a great school.

Great school, great location. Given the same set of circumstances, I would definitely still go there. Very laid back, good instructors, classic college experience. Definitely tilts to the left politically, so if you do, too, then this is the place. Street fairs, decent bar scene, decent dorms, very accessible campus, every class within easy walking distance. The rain sucks, but when spring and summer comes along, it's worth the wait. Always felt safe around town. The music scene is pretty vibrant and many major bands stop through. For people interested in radio, check out the campus station, KWVA. It's pretty clique-y, but just get in there and get involved and eventually you'll move up the hierarchy. Also a lot of campus groups to get involved with, spend some time in the student union checking out what's going on.

The University of Oregon does not get the credit it deserves. The Charles H. Lindquist College of Business, part of the University of Oregon is an amazing business school. I have nearly completed my BS in IFSM, most of which has been done via distance learning due to my employment in the military. The classes and professors are very well matched with an unparalleled learning environment. At the University of Oregon, you literally get what you put in. If youâ€™re willing to push the extra bit you will develop that edge necessary for todayâ€™s competitive job market.
