I would definately recommend this college, I LOVED IT! They are state of the art, offer all kinds of fun classes, and everyone there is so nice. They have cafeterias left and right too so whenever you get hungry they are there for you. There are also so many people there that you have no choice but to make friends, all kinds of people. Denton TX itseld is just amazing and is really a lot safer than other areas of Texas.
You can get a good education here but underclassmen classes are often difficult to get into and in science in particular they are often taught by overworked graduate students who sometimes only have a so-so command of English. The music school is highly regarded of course, but otherwise I'd strongly recommend going to a community college first and getting your Math and Science and Freshman English and like credits out of the way there first. It's a big school with a heavy greek presence, and many students who don't conform to that stereotype may find themselves feeling lost in the shuffle.
This is a great school for students majoring in the arts; music, visual arts etc. They have great programs and are very accredited. This is a commuter school though, so its like a ghost town on the weekends. I would still go here if i could do it over, its where God wanted me, but I think other schools would have been more interesting.
