Good School. Campus is small and easy to get around. Use to be known as a party school, but I think that image is no longer with the school. Lafayette is a good city. Has all the amenities of a big city, but the charm of a small town.
What a great school for college. The people in South Louisiana are terrific. The people are really friendly and fun-loving. It has mostly to do with the Cajun Culture of working hard and playing hard. Mardi Gras was a great experience while there. I want to find a career in Lafayette because of my experiences in college. The food is also a big part of the Cajun Culture. There are so many great restaurants to try. Another advantage, is the abundance of attractive women. Women in South Louisiana are some of the best in the country. Look out. One must have discipline to attend becuase of all of the temptations. You could literally go out every night and find a party of some kind. Plus, there are pretty much festivals every weekend around the Acadiana area during what they call Festival Season. It was a great experience for me and I recommend other people to try this "diamond in the rough."
In the 1905 college football season, 18 men were killed and 159 more permanently injured during regular U.S. collegiate football games. The NCAA was subsequently formed to establish rules and require protective equipment.
