  I'm a current student at Temple and I absolutely love it; it's right in North Philly. If you love the city, then Temple is for you. Temple is also has one of the most diverse groups of students in the country, which allows you to meet many interesting people. When choosing this school, be confident in yourself. Like I said, Temple has a very diverse student body and if you can represent yourself in a different way, then they'd love to have you. I would definitely recommend this school to anybody who loves the city. Temple has a campus while still being intertwined with the community and city. It's not an enclosed campus like many other colleges have, but it's nice. If you don't like city life, then Temple isn't the place for you. Also if you want a true, enclosed campus, Temple is not your school. Temple is a great school. Temple's business school is one of the best as well as the arts school.

  If I had to do it all again, I would definitely attend Temple. Its a great school with a really friendly atmosphere. It wasnt hard to make friends at all!! The campus is really pretty, although it is huge!! (You will definitely need a map until you learn your way around). The class choices are awesome--you will ALWAYS find something that catches your interest. Yes, it is a bit expensive, but then again, what college isn't? The surrounding areas can be/look a bit rough but the campus is safe. There is no need to worry!!

  For students who want a positive college experience, they should look elsewhere. The first and foremost strike against this college is its location. At least once a day, someone in the neighborhood begs me for money. These "bums" are usually hovering around the food stands praying on students. The second reason is that I feel most of the students are not focused on studying. I highly doubt most rank high above the minimum GPA. However the teachers are the one redeeming quality of this university. But as with other colleges there would always be great teachers so therefore I do not recommend this university.

  This is a very good college for go-getters who can wade through all of the many resources offered to the thousands and thousands of students here. It's a commuter school, so social life lacks. The education is good. If I had it to do over again, I would have worked harder to get into a more competitive school.

  Temple Law covers the same basic things as all other law schools but don't go here unless you know for sure that you want to spend the rest of your life in Philadelphia. This law degree is worthless once you leave the area surrounding Philadelphia. The students are obnoxious- a mix of snotty dumb rich kinds who couldn't get into more competitive schools and poor smart kids there on scholarship. People would sell their mothers off to get better grades. Cheating is rampant. The administration is incompetent and there not to help you but only themselves. If you have any other options avoid Temple.

  Be proactive since no one else will care about making sure you're on course. Do not take classes with Dr. Krow (my name spelled backwards is work) for Organic Chemistry; watch out, he has tenure. There are student evaluations of professorsl try to find them beforehand, but don't believe everything they say (someone told me to be nice when evaluating Krow). I would not recommend this college, there are much better ones elsewhere. I would not go there again. Yes, Bill Cosby stops by for a graduation speech now and then, but Temple doesn't have much going for it. The neighborhood is not great.

  Temple is not in the best neighborhood. I loved the basketball team -the Owls.I hated the dorms.(elevators sucked) I only spent 2 years on main campus, which was way safer then the health science campus.
