Sweet Briar College is an all-women's college located in Sweet Briar, Virginia.

It was founded in 1901, on the legacy of Indiana Fletcher Williams, who lost Daisy, her only daughter, at the age of 16. From the beginning it has been a non-denominational college. In the words of its Mrs. Williams, its goal is to prepare young women to be "useful members of society."

Its sports teams are known as the Vixens. Sweet Briar is a member of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference.
