The
State University of New York at Oneonta is a four-year liberal arts college in Oneonta, New York, United States.
Established in 1889 as a state normal school with the sole mission of
training teachers, the College at Oneonta was a founding member of the State University of New York system in 1948. Today, the College offers many bachelor's degrees in the liberal arts and sciences, as well as
bachelor's degrees in business, human ecology (family and consumer sciences), mass communication, meteorology, and water
resources. A number of graduate degrees are also offered.
