Weather is brutal during the winter, and probably not worth going here for the two weeks of sunshine. Classes are all lareg lectures, and the teachers are not personable. Buildings are ugly and the administration is terrible.
SUNY - buffalo is a good "value for money" University. Being a Public school, a student would obviously not pay as much tution fee as a private school. The Libraries are very good and well equipped. It has good facilities for those interested in sports and has a alumni arena with olympic size swimming pool.
The bad part is, the career support is minimal. One has to try oneself and can't rely on much help from CRC. The cafeteria also doesn't have great food. I had a tough time and got no help at all from the CRC for a job search. They do the minimal required to get you a job. If I had to do over again, I would look for a school with a stronger CRC.
It's a great party school for budding teachers. The location is great, in the best and most beautiful part of Buffalo. The teachers are generally good. The dorms are okay, but could use improvement. The meal plan is awful, but currently being revamped. The library is enormous.
