SUNY College at Brockport is a great school if you want a more personal experience. The college offers many smaller classroom type classes that are more condusive to learning because of the more intimate relationship you are able to develop with both teachers and students. There are, however, several lecture halls and lecture hall classes offered, if that is more your style. The school is a great one for the teaching field. The student population is ecclectic and generally pretty friendly. I would recommend this college because I think that it has a great campus, a really good library, and professors that are friendly and personable. The cons are the parking situation. You have to pay for parking and parking is very hard to find. Luckily that campus isn't TOO big and you can walk from place to place...if you allot enough extra time. Another con is making your class schedule. Classes fill up quickly and then you are stuck waiting another semester to fulfill your credit. Pros are, as i stated, classroom size, professors, student body, and the library. Also, the campus bookstore is really great. You can usually purchase all of your text books there. There is also a book store close to the college for this as well. At this book store you can also sell your books back for cash when you are done. The prices are fair. I think that the college is safe and you wouldn't have to worry too much about crime. Overall this college is a good school all around.
