Most students find their way to Ohio University-Chillicothe because it is affordable and has great teaching staff. Having attended three years there, I found that its greatest asset was that it was a branch of Ohio University in Athens, a favorite campus to complete undergraduate work. The journalism program is excellent, as well as other programs, and when I interviewed at a television station for a job, graduating from OU was seen as an asset.
OU-Chillicothe has smaller classes than larger campuses, and for me, it meant a closer relationship with professors, more personal attention, and when I had a problem, there was more one-on-one instruction. Great library, nice gym, nice setting in a sweet little south-central Ohio town. Highly recommended! You can always pick up classes at the Lancaster campus, also very good.
