Northwestern offers something for everyone, and looking back, it provided an almost idyllic setting to learn, grow and of course, play. Because it is separated by individual schools (journalism, education, engineering, music, etc), the university attracts a diverse student body from across the world. As an aspiring journalist, I knew early on that I wanted to go to Northwestern (which has the best undergraduate journalism program in the country), and it's truly where I learned from the best, honed my craft and found the opportunities to follow my passion.
Kellogg is the best marketing education you will get at an MBA program. I've discovered this after interacting with graduates of other top institutions in my post-Kellogg job. It's also one of the better groups of students. However, their career services office isn't very good unless you want a job in consulting, i-banking, or CPG.
