I would recommend this college to students looking to become an Architect or Engineer.
If I had to do it again I would not choose this college because I majored in Accounting/Finance and this school is not known for those programs.
One of the pros is the multi locations and the fact that you can take classes at all of the campuses.
New York Institute of Technology has become more well known in the last several years. It's a great school, the Old Westbury and Central Islip campuses are beautiful. The Manhattan campus could serve the students better if they had a larger space ... the pro for this campus is the location, right across from the entrance of Central Park, down the block from Lincoln Center and in walking distance to Times Square.
New York Institute of Technology, Old Westbury is an excellent school for Communications, Architecture and Chiropratic students. There were no dorms on the property so many students were forced to stay at nearby C.W. Post, (another good school with a very nice campus). Some students were forced to dorm in run down hotels and take buses to the campus. It's a good school for commuters. Because there were no dorms, there wasn't much social life after class because everyone would leave the campus.
