I attended Mercer in the eighties. They have substantially grown since then. I would reccomend Mercer to anyone. It has the Southern charm of Macon, Georgia and is really a small school compared to the monstrous state schools. However, Mercer has a lot of options and one could really go far with the some effor. Medical, law, engineering, nursing, etc.,etc.. Meanwhile, you also get the greek system, the one on one counseling and the small southern feel.
Just don't do what I did. Drink all the time, be rowdy and not concentrate on a future. I had sio much fun while I was there but did not equip myself beyond that.Mercer has a lot of pluses for it's undergraduate students and I would say yes go. |
